While Rob and I took a week off to roam around in the nice cool Wisconsin weather, my mailbox became overwhelmed with your travel questions. I understand. Everything is not only changing, but it is happening so very quickly that the world of travel gets confusing. Let me help by answering a few of your questions in today’s travel article:
Q : I want to go to Hawaii. Do you think it will be possible for our family to go there this summer? Sally O.
A: Mahalo for your question, Sally, and YES! It is possible to go to the islands this summer.
Very early on, Hawaii did create a very stringent covid program, but, when you consider it is one of the world’s most popular destinations, it is easy to understand and appreciate their need to do so. Yet, beginning July 8, the good news is their governor has just announced that vaccinated travelers from the U.S. will no longer need to take a pre-travel covid test to skip quarantine.
