Black Widow’s Olga Kurylenko says that she would be open to appearing in a Taskmaster show on Disney+. Born in Ukraine, Kurylenko began her career as a model before transitioning to film. She received the certificate of excellence award at the Brooklyn International Film Festival in 2006 for her performance in L’Annulaire and later appeared in the likes of 2006’s Hitman and Quantum of Solace, in which she portrayed Camille Montes.
In the comics, Taskmaster is a mercenary with photographic memory, meaning he is capable of mimicking the fighting style of whoever he encounters. In Black Widow, the character was revealed to be Antonia Dreykov, the daughter of the film’s villain Dreykov (the Red Room’s founder). Antonia was initially believed to be dead after Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff detonated a bomb to kill Dreykov while Antonia was in the blast radius. In the film’s climax, Antonia was revealed to be the one under the helmet, serving as an elite enforcer for her father against her will. The film ended with Antonia seemingly forgiving Natasha before leaving with other Widows.
