A local member association will host a forum on the topic of transforming a family-owned business for relevance in the next generation.
Family Business Alliance in Grand Rapids said Wednesday, Oct. 27, it will host a family forum featuring keynote speaker Ross Hudson, CFO of Chicago-based Fidelitone, from 7:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel at 187 Monroe Ave. NW in downtown Grand Rapids.
Hudson will share how a manufacturer and distributor of phonographic needles for record players and juke boxes transformed itself into the fourth-generation, family-owned third-party logistics business Fidelitone is today. He will discuss the business’s journey as a privately held company, the key drivers that helped its transformation and how the company continues to sustain growth.
