Skyy Clark, the No. 26 overall prospect in the 2022 class, has cut his list down to six schools, a source told 247Sports. The composite five-star point guard is down to Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, Tennessee, USC and Washington.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect was previously committed to Kentucky and was still considering the program but has since cut the Wildcats out of his list of potential suitors.
Since receiving his release from Kentucky on March 6, 2022, Clark has been contacted by dozens of schools, conducted an in-home visit with Illinois and had Tennessee, Washington and Maryland in to see him at his high school
Among the shower of de-commitments in recent months, Clark now ranks as the top available point guard in the class.
He is a creative, skilled and crafty guard with a savvy scoring package and a budding playmaking ability. He has really developed his jumper in recent years and since coming back from a torn ACL, his decision making and his facilitating have been improving while at Montverde (Fla.) Academy.
It’s a big week for Clark as he makes a big step in his new recruitment but will also head to Fort Myers (Fla.) where he will lead one of the top ranked high school teams in the country to the premier high school tournament in the country – GEICO Nationals.
