The first footage for The Matrix: Resurrections is now available to watch online ahead of the trailer release, and here’s how to view it. Almost 20 years after the Matrix trilogy came to an end, the story is continuing with The Matrix: Resurrections. The fourth movie in the franchise, which is only being directed by Lana Wachowski this time, is bringing back Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity respectively. With anticipation building ahead of its December 2021 release, Warner Bros. is ready to show off the sequel.
The first footage for The Matrix 4 debuted at CinemaCon in August 2021, which reveals including that Neo is back going back his Matrix name of Thomas Anderson, seemingly with no memory of ever being The One. While that was exclusive, audiences worldwide will be able to see The Matrix 4 trailer when it arrives online on Thursday September 9, 2021, but before then there is a chance to see a few snippets of footage from the film.
