One of the top wide receivers in the country is off the board.
?Four-star wideout Kyler Kasper of Gilbert (Ariz.) Williams Field announced his commitment to Oregon on Sunday, choosing the Ducks over more than two dozen other scholarship offers including Iowa, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and UCLA.
The lanky 6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect took an official visit to Tennessee on Apr. 8 and promptly announced he would be revealing his college choice. Kasper made it to Eugene twice this off-season and was blown away each time.
“Really, the whole staff up there is so down to Earth,” Kasper told 247Sports. “The big selling point for me was coach Junior Adams. He’s a great coach who obviously coaches Cooper Kupp and we were able to see all the great things Kupp has been doing in the NFL. I just had a great feel for coach Adams and Oregon as a whole and I just can’t wait to get up there.”
