Lincoln Riley and USC won a big recruiting battle when they held off Alabama for five-star cornerback Domani Jackson out of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei. Jackson decommitted from USC last month, but Riley and the staff were able to reel him back in after his 247Sports Crystal Ball trended to Alabama.
Riley is excited to have Jackson in the fold. He spoke about him during his signing day press conference.
“Domani Jackson signed here with us today, obviously, as well out of Mater Dei,” Riley said. “Extremely talented football player, one of the most talented players in the country at his position. The size of speed, or the combination of speed, size and then just a natural confidence that Domani has is very, very impressive. And it was great to get a chance to spend a lot of time with him and his family here over the last few weeks. And certainly glad that this was the right fit for him.”
