Connor Heyward is going to a familiar place. The former Michigan State football player was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round (No. 208 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft Saturday. He’ll get to join his brother Cam Heyward on the roster and have a chance to make the 53-man come September. Overall, it’s going to be a wild family affair with the two of them sharing the same locker room.
Connor wasn’t happy about waiting so long to get drafted, but was ecstatic when it finally happened and when he found out he was going to play with his brother. The pair joined the ESPN NFL Draft broadcast with host Rece Davis and immediately shared their happiness of the event.
They also showed off the friendly brotherly jabbing and chop busting.
